An Act Amending Section Fifty-Four of the Judiciary Act of 1948, as Amended

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippine Congress Assembled:

Section 1. The eleventh paragraph of Section fifty-four of Republic Act Numbered Two hundred ninety-six, otherwise known as "The Judiciary Act of 1948," as amended, is further amended to read as follows:

"Thirteenth Judicial District: The Catbalogan branch to hold court at Basey, Samar, on the first Tuesday of January of each year; the Laoang branch, at Gamay, same province, on the first Tuesday of July of each year."

Section 2. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
