Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippine Congress Assembled:

Section 1

The sum of eight million pesos, or so much thereof as may be necessary, is hereby appropriated out of any funds in the National Treasury not otherwise appropriated, to implement Republic Act Numbered Forty-one hundred and eighty raising the minimum wage for national government employees to six pesos a day effective July first, nineteen hundred and sixty-five.

Section 2

The amount herein appropriated from the General Fund shall be made available to increase any item or items in the General Appropriations Act for fiscal year nineteen hundred and sixty-six to provide for the difference between the amount of six pesos a day fixed in Republic Act Numbered Forty-one hundred and eighty and the sum appropriated in the said item or items for the payment of salaries or wages at less than six pesos a day: Provided, However, That the amount appropriated herein shall be equitably prorated among the different offices of the Government having lump sum appropriations.

Section 3

Such sums as may be necessary are hereby appropriated out of the special, revolving, trust, fiduciary, bond and other funds to provide a minimum pay of six pesos a day for employees paid from said funds, effective July first, nineteen hundred and sixty-five.

Section 4

This Act shall take effect on July first, nineteen hundred and sixty-five.
