RA 4377 - An Act Authorizing the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office to Hold a Special Lottery for the Benefit of the Girl Scouts of the Philippines

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippine Congress Assembled:
Section 1
The Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office is hereby authorized to hold one special lottery, the whole proceed of which, after deducting the prizes and expenses as provided for in Republic Act Numbered Eleven hundred and sixty-nine, as amended, shall be turned over to the Girl Scouts of the Philippines in support and maintenance of its "Silver Jubilee Year" on May 26, 1965 to May 26, 1966, and, its participation as hostess to the forthcoming Girl Scouts World Conference in 1966 to be held in Manila: Provided, That all disbursements from this fund shall be subject to the established rules and regulations governing disbursement of public funds.
Section 2
This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
