Republic Act No. 4380

AN ACT TO FURTHER AMEND SECTION NINE OF REPUBLIC ACT NUMBERED TWENTY-TWO HUNDRED SIXTY, AS AMENDED.

Section 1. Section nine of Republic Act Numbered Twenty-two hundred and sixty as amended by Republic Act Numbered Thirty-six hundred and seventy-five is hereby further amended to read as follows:

"Sec. 9. Wage and Position Classification Office. The Wage and Position Classification Office shall be responsible for the classification of positions in the civil service and shall standardize the salaries of the group or groups of positions to be classified: Provided, That the range of minimum and maximum salaries allowable for civil service eligibilities shall be:

Eligibilities	Minimum	Maximum
First Grade	P3,000	No limit
Second Grade	2,400	P7,200
Third Grade	2,160	4,800
Senior Stenographer	3,000	No limit
Junior Stenographer	2,160	7,200
Senior Typist	3,000	6,720
Junior Typist	2,160	5,040"

Section 2. All Acts, executive orders, administrative orders, rules and regulations, or parts thereof inconsistent with the provisions of this Act are hereby repealed.

Section 3. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
