RA 4438 - An Act to Increase the Number of Councilors of Tagaytay City from Four to Six, Amending for the Purpose Section Thirteen of Commonwealth Act Numbered Three Hundred and Thirty-Eight, as Amended

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippine Congress Assembled:
Section 1
Section thirteen of Commonwealth Act Numbered Three hundred thirty-eight, as amended, otherwise known as the Charter of Tagaytay City, is further amended to read as follows:
"Sec. 13. The City Council, Meetings; Ordinances.— There shall be a City Council composed of the vice-mayor and six other members who shall be elected in the same manner, and shall possess the same qualifications, as the mayor.
Section 2
The new councilors to fill up the new positions created under this Act shall be appointed by the President alone and shall serve until their successors shall have been elected in the next elections for local officials and qualified.
Section 3
This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
