An Act Amending Republic Act Numbered Thirty-Eight Hundred and Fifty-Seven by Fixing the Compensation of the City Public Service Officer and His Assistant

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippine Congress Assembled:

Section 1. Section ninety-three of Republic Act Numbered Thirty-eight hundred and fifty-seven, otherwise known as the Revised Charter of the City of Cebu, is amended to read as follows:

"Sec. 93. City Public Service Officer.— There shall be a City Public Service Officer with a salary of seven thousand eight hundred pesos per annum who shall have charged of the Department of Public Services.

Section 2. The city public service officer and his assistant, whose appointments have already been approved by the authorities concerned prior to the approval of this Act, shall automatically be entitled to the benefit of this Act without further need of appointment.

Section 3. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
