An Act Constituting the Second Representative District of the Province of Leyte into a Separate Highway Engineering District

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippine Congress Assembled:

Section 1. Any provision of law to contrary notwithstanding, the Second Representative District of the Province of Leyte shall be constituted into a separate highway engineering district.

Section 2. The office of the said highway engineering district shall be in the Municipality of Carigara, Province of Leyte, and shall have one highway district engineer who shall be appointed in accordance with existing laws.

Section 3. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
