Republic Act No. 5075

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippine Congress Assembled:

Section 1

The ninth paragraph of Section fifty of Republic Act Numbered Two hundred ninety-six is hereby further amended to read as follows:

"Seven judges shall be commissioned for the Ninth Judicial District. Five judges shall preside over the Court of First Instance of Quezon, and shall be known as judges of the first, second, third, fourth and fifth branches thereof, respectively; one judge shall preside over the Court of First Instance of Aurora; one judge shall preside over the Court of First Instance of Camarines Norte."

Section 2

The tenth paragraph of Section fifty-two of the same Act is further amended to read as follows:

"For the Ninth Judicial District two judges shall be stationed in the City of Lucena; one judge each shall be stationed in the Municipalities of Gumaca, Calauag and Mauban, Province of Quezon; one judge in the Municipality of Baler, Subprovince of Aurora; and one judge in the Municipality of Daet, Province of Camarines Norte."

Section 3

Such sums as may be necessary to carry out the purpose of this Act is hereby authorized to be appropriated out of any funds in the National Treasury not otherwise appropriated.

Section 4

This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
