Republic Act No. 5236

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippine Congress Assembled:

Section 1

The first paragraph of Section fourteen of Republic Act Numbered Three hundred twenty-one, otherwise known as the "Charter of the City of Ozamiz," is hereby amended to read as follows:

"Sec. 14. Methods of transacting business by the board Veto— Authentication and publication of ordinances.— The Board shall hold one ordinary session for the transaction of business during each week on a day which it shall fix by resolution, and such extraordinary session as may be called by the Mayor at his entrance or upon written request of the majority of members of the board with at least twelve hours notice to each member. It shall sit with open doors, unless otherwise ordered by an affirmative vote of five members.

Section 2

This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
