Republic Act No. 5424

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippine Congress Assembled:

Section 1

There is hereby created a position of provincial fiscal in the Subprovince of Quirino in the Province of Nueva Vizcaya. Appointment to the said position of provincial fiscal shall be made by the President of the Philippines, with the consent of the Commission on Appointments, and the appointee thereof shall exercise such powers and perform such duties as are vested in the office by law as if the Subprovince of Quirino were a different and separate province with the seat of office in the capital of the subprovince. He shall receive a salary as that provided by law for provincial fiscals.

Section 2

This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
