Republic Act No. 5503

AN ACT APPROPRIATING ADDITIONAL FUNDS FOR THE PHILIPPINE VETERANS ADMINISTRATION.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress assembled:

Section 1. The sum of five million pesos is approved, out of any funds in the National Treasury not otherwise appropriated, as additional funds to be expended by the Philippine Veterans Administration for the fiscal year nineteen hundred and sixty-nine, as follows:

1. To implement the Educational Benefits Program as provided for by Republic Act No. 65, as  amended	₱4,500,000
2. To pay pensions and death gratuities as provided for by Republic Act No. 610	500,000
Total	₱5,000,000

Section 2. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
