Republic Act No. 5743

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress assembled:

Section 1

The following parcels of land in the Municipality of Panabo, Province of Davao, are hereby declared as agricultural and alienable lands under the provisions of Commonwealth Act Numbered One hundred and forty-one; otherwise known as the Public Land Act:

Lot 1-A parcel of land (foreshore) bounded on the North by a provincial road to the wharf, on the East and South by Davao Gulf, on the West by Lot 2. Beginning from a point marked "1" on the plan which is S. 6 deg. 45 min. E., 996.98 m. from BBM No. 15 of Tagum Cad. 276; thence S. 62 deg. 47 min. E., 68.00 m. to point 2; thence S. 52 deg. 28 min. Section 2

The Director of Lands shall, in consultation with the Municipal Council of Panabo and in accordance with principles of sound community planning, designate portions of the parcels of land described in the preceding section hereof for the following purposes:

a. Site for school of fisheries;

b. Site for a beach resort;

c. Site for wharf facility;

d. Communal site;

e. Industrial site; and (f) Residential site.

Section 3

This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
