AN ACT CONVERTING MATI HIGH SCHOOL IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF MATI, PROVINCE OF DAVAO ORIENTAL, INTO A NATIONAL COMPREHENSIVE HIGH SCHOOL, AND AUTHORIZING THE APPROPRIATION OF FUNDS THEREFOR.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress assembled:

Section 1. The Mati High School in the Municipality of Mati, Province of Davao Oriental, is hereby converted into a national comprehensive high school. The curriculum of said school shall include both academic and vocational courses effective upon availability of funds.

Section 2. The sum of two hundred fifty thousand pesos is hereby authorized to be appropriated, out of any funds in the National Treasury not otherwise appropriated, for the establishment, operation and maintenance of said school during the fiscal year nineteen hundred sixty-nine. Thereafter, such sums as may be necessary for its operation and maintenance shall be included in the annual General Appropriations Act.

Section 3. This Act shall take effect upon its approval. Approved, June 21, 1969.
