Republic Act No. 5879

AN ACT PROVIDING FOR THE ESTABLISHMENT OF A TELECOMMUNICATIONS OFFICE IN CERTAIN MUNICIPALITIES IN THE PROVINCE OF DAVAO DEL NORTE, AND AUTHORIZING THE APPROPRIATION OF FUNDS THEREFOR.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress assembled:

Section 1. There is hereby established a telecommunications office in each of the following municipalities, namely: Carmen, Kaputian, Maco, Montevista, New Bataan and New Corella, all in the Province of Davao del Norte.

Section 2. The sum of four hundred thousand pesos is hereby authorized to be appropriated to carry out of purpose of this Act for the fiscal year nineteen hundred seventy.  Thereatfer, the necessary sums for the purpose shall be included in the annual General Appropriations Act.

Section 3. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
