Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representative of the Philippines in Congress assembled:
Section 1
The first paragraph of Section twenty-six of Republic Act Numbered Forty-eight hundred ninety-four, otherwise known as the Charter of the City of Cadiz, is amended to read as follows:
"Section 26. The City Fiscal and Register of Deeds ex officio—His compensation, powers and duties.—The City Fiscal with one assistant shall be the chief legal adviser of city. They shall receive salaries in accordance with the Provisions of existing law. He shall have the following powers and duties:"
Section 2
This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
