Republic Act No. 6529
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress assembled:
Section 1
The present Municipality of Mahaplag, Province of Leyte, is hereby declared as a duly constituted municipality to be known as the Municipality of Mahaplag as of July 21, 1958.
Section 2
The seat of government of the said Municipality of Mahaplag shall be at Barrios Malinao and San Isidro.
Section 3
This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
Enacted without the Executive approval, July 22, 1972.
