AN ACT DECLARING THE MUNICIPALITY OF MAHAPLAG AS A DULY CONSTITUTED MUNICIPALITY IN THE PROVINCE OF LEYTE.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress assembled:

Section 1. The present Municipality of Mahaplag, Province of Leyte, is hereby declared as a duly constituted municipality to be known as the Municipality of Mahaplag as of July 21, 1958.

Section 2. The seat of government of the said Municipality of Mahaplag shall be at Barrios Malinao and San Isidro.

Section 3. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
