Republic Act No. 6974

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress assembled:

Section 1

Paragraph (a), Section 33 of Executive Order No. 128 dated January 30, 1987 is hereby amended to read as follows:

"(a) National Research Council of the Philippines as created under Act 4120 of the Ninth Philippines Legislature."

Section 2

All references to the name "Philippine National Science Society" shall be understood as referring to the National Research Council of the Philippines pursuant to the provisions of this Act.

Section 3

This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
