Republic Act No. 7741

AN ACT PROVIDING FOR THE ESTABLISHMENT OF A NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL IN BARANGAY PUNTALINAO, MUNICIPALITY OF BANAYBANAY, PROVINCE OF DAVAO ORIENTAL, TO BE KNOWN AS THE PUNTALINAO HIGH SCHOOL, AND APPROPRIATING FUNDS THEREFOR

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress assembled:

Section 1. There is hereby established, under the direct supervision of the Department of Education, Culture and Sports, a national high school in Barangay Puntalinao, Municipality of Banaybanay, Province of Davao Oriental, to be known as the Puntalinao High School.

Section 2. The amount necessary to carry out the provisions of this Act shall be funded out of the appropriations authorized by Republic Act No. 7663 for the Department of Education, Culture and Sports intended for the operational expenses of newly legislated high schools. Thereafter, the amount needed for its operation and maintenance shall be included in the annual General Appropriations Act.

Section 3. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
