AN ACT INCREASING THE BED CAPACITY OF DR. PAULINO J. GARCIA MEMORIAL RESEARCH AND MEDICAL CENTER EXTENSION HOSPITAL IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF TALAVERA, PROVINCE OF NUEVA ECIJA, FROM TEN (10) BEDS TO FIFTY (50) BEDS CAPACITY, AND APPROPRIATING FUNDS THEREFOR

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress assembled:

Section 1. The bed capacity of the Dr. Paulino J. Garcia Memorial Research and Medical Center Extension Hospital in the Municipality of Talavera, Province of Nueva Ecija, shall be increased from ten (10) beds to fifty (50) beds capacity. Said extension hospital shall be under the full administrative and technical supervision of the Department of Health.

Section 2. The amount necessary to carry out the provisions of this Act shall be included in the General Appropriations Act separate and distinct from the budget of the Department of Health of the year following its enactment into law and thereafter.

Section 3. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.

This Act which originated in the House of Representatives was finally passed by the House of Representatives and the Senate on March 28, 1996 and December 15, 1997, respectively.
