Republic Act No. 8537

AN ACT ESTABLISHING THE BONLIW NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF TORRIJOS, PROVINCE OF MARINDUQUE, AND APPROPRIATING FUNDS THEREFOR

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress assembled:

Section 1. There shall be established under the direct supervision of the Department of Education, Culture and Sports, the Bonliw National High School in the Municipality of Torrijos, Province of Marinduque.

Section 2. The amount necessary to carry out the provisions of this Act shall be included in the General Appropriations Act of the year following its enactment into law and thereafter.

Section 3. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.

This Act which originated in the House of Representatives was finally passed by the House of Representatives and the Senate on February 28, 1996 and October 27, 1997, respectively.
