Republic Act No. 8697

AN ACT CHANGING THE NAME OF SANTA FE EXTENSION HIGH SCHOOL IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF SAN MARCELINO, PROVINCE OF ZAMBALES, TO SAN GUILLERMO NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress assembled:

Section 1. The name of Santa Fe Extension High School in the Municipality of San Marcelino, Province of Zambales, is hereby changed to San Guillermo National High School.

Section 2. The Secretary of the Department of Education, Culture and Sports shall issue such rules and regulations as may be necessary to carry out the purpose of this Act.

Section 3. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.

This Act which originated in the House of Representatives was finally passed by the House of Representatives and the Senate on January 12, 1998 and February 19, 1998, respectively.
