Republic Act No. 8812

AN ACT DECLARING JULY 1 OF EVERY YEAR A SPECIAL WORKING HOLIDAY KNOWN AS ADLAW SA DIPOLOG, PROVINCE OF ZAMBOANGA DEL NORTE

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress assembled:

Section 1. July 1 is the Adlaw sa Dipolog in the City of Dipolog, Province of Zamboanga del Norte. This day is celebrated to generate participation in recognition and commemoration of the Foundation Anniversary of Dipolog.

Section 2. July 1 of every year is hereby declared a special working holiday in the City of Dipolog, Province of Zamboanga del Norte.

Section 3. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.

This Act which originated in the House of Representatives was finally passed by the House of Representatives and the Senate on September 15, 1999 and June 8, 2000,  respectively.
