Republic Act No. 8814

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress assembled:

Section 1

February 9 of every year is hereby designated as a special working holiday in the City of Mandaluyong, in recognition and commemoration of the city's liberation from foreign occupying forces.

Section 2

This Act shall take effect immediately upon its approval.
