Republic Act No. 8838

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress assembled:

Section 1

The Hinolaso Municipal High School in the Municipality of Dolores, Province of Eastern Samar is hereby converted into a national high school to be known as the Hinolaso National High School.

Section 2

The national high school shall offer general secondary education proper. It shall also offer techno-vocational course and offer relevant courses to cultivate technical and vocational skills of the youth.

Section 3

All personnel, assets, liabilities and records of the Hinolaso Municipal High School shall be transferred to and absorbed by the Hinolaso National High School.

Section 4

The Secretary of Education, Culture and Sports shall issue the necessary rules and regulations for the effective conversion and operation of the school.

Section 5

The amount necessary to carry out the provisions of this Act shall be included in the General Appropriations Act of the year following its enactment into law and thereafter.

Section 6

This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
