AN ACT CONVERTING MAINIT-REINERMANN HIGH SCHOOL OF BARANGAY MAINIT, MUNICIPALITY OF NABUNTURAN, COMPOSTELA VALLEY PROVINCE INTO A NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL TO BE KNOWN AS MAINIT NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL AND PROVIDING APPROPRIATE FUNDS THEREFOR

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress assembled:

Section 1. The Mainit-Reinermann High School of Barangay Mainit, Municipality of Nabunturan, Compostela Valley Province shall be converted into a national high school to be known as Mainit National High School under the supervision of the Department of Education, Culture and Sports (DECS).

Section 2. The amount necessary to carry out the provisions of this Act shall be included in the General Appropriations Act of the year following its enactment into law and thereafter.

Section 3. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.

This Act which originated in the House of Representatives was finally passed by the House of Representatives and the Senate on March 27, 2000 and June 8, 2000,  respectively.
