Republic Act No. 8939

AN ACT ESTABLISHING A NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL AT BARANGAY UBAO, MUNICIPALITY OF AGUINALDO, PROVINCE OF IFUGAO AND PROVIDING FUNDS THEREFOR

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress assembled:

Section 1. There shall be established in Barangay Ubao, Municipality of Aguinaldo, Province of Ifugao a national high school to be known as Ubao National High School under the supervision of the Department of Education, Culture and Sports.

Section 2. The Secretary of Education, Culture and Sports shall issue such rules and regulations as may be necessary to carry out the purpose of this Act.

Section 3. The amount necessary to carry out the provisions of this Act shall be included in the General Appropriations Act of the year following its approval and thereafter.

Section 4. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.

This Act which originated in the House of Representatives was finally passed by the House of Representatives and the Senate on September 15, 1999 and June 5, 2000, respectively.
