Republic Act No. 9067

AN ACT DECLARING APRIL 15 OF EVERY YEAR AS PRESIDENT MANUEL A. ROXAS DAY WHICH SHALL BE OBSERVED AS A SPECIAL WORKING PUBLIC HOLIDAY IN THE PROVINCE OF CAPIZ AND THE CITY OF ROXAS

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress assembled:

Section 1. April 15 of every year is hereby declared as President Manuel A. Roxas Day which shall be observed as a special working public holiday in the Province of Capiz and the City of Roxas.

Section 2. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.

This Act which originated in the House of Representatives was finally passed by the House of Representatives and the Senate on February 6, 2001 and May 29, 2000, respectively.
