Republic Act No. 9069

AN ACT DECLARING MAY 14 OF EVERY YEAR A SPECIAL WORKING HOLIDAY FOR OBANDO, BULACAN

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress assembled:

Section 1. It is hereby declared that May 14 of every year, being the Foundation Day of Obando, Bulacan, shall be a special working holiday for the same.

Section 2. This Act shall take effect fifteen (15) days after its publication in a newspaper of national circulation and at least in two (2) local newspapers and/or community newsletters.

This Act which originated in the House of Representatives was finally passed by the House of Representatives and the Senate on February 6, 2001 and October 2, 2000, respectively.
