Republic Act No. 9118

AN ACT DECLARING THE FIRST DAY OF MARCH OF EVERY YEAR AS A SPECIAL WORKING HOLIDAY IN THE CITY OF MUNTINLUPA TO BE KNOWN AS THE MUNTINLUPA CITY CHARTER DAY

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress assembled:

Section 1. March 1 of every year is hereby declared a special working holiday in the City of Muntinlupa to be known as "Muntinlupa City Charter Day" in order to commemorate the Charter Anniversary of the said city.

Section 2. This Act shall take effect immediately upon its approval.

This Act which is a consolidation of House Bill No. 6790 and Senate Bill No. 2165 was finally passed by the House of Representatives and Senate on February 6, 2001 and October 2, 2000, respectively.
