Republic Act No. 9191

AN ACT DECLARING THE DAY OF MARCH OF EVERY YEAR AS A SPECIAL NONWORKING HOLIDAY IN THE CITY OF MUNTINLUPA TO BE KNOWN AS THE MUNTINLUPA CITY CHARTER DAY

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress assembled:

Section 1. March 1 of every year is hereby declared a special nonworking holiday in the City of Muntinlupa to be known as "Muntinlupa City of Charter Day" in order to commemorate the Charter Anniversary of the said city.

Section 2. This Act shall take effect immediately upon its approval.

This Act which is a consolidation of House Bill No. 542 and Senate Bill No. 2417 was finally passed by the House of Representatives and the Senate on January 28, 2003 and January 22, 2003, respectively.
