Republic Act No. 9366

AN ACT GRANTING PHILIPPINE CITIZENSHIP TO REV. FR. ULRICH H. SCHLECHT. SVD

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippine Congress Assembled:

SECTION 1. Rev. Fr. Ulrich H. Schlecht is hereby granted Philippine citizenship with all the rights, privileges and prerogatives appurtenant thereto.

SEC. 2. Upon the taking and registration of the of allegiance to the Republic of the Philippines before the Bureau of Immigration and the issuance to him of the Certificate of Naturalization, Rev. Fr. Ulrich H. Schlecht shall enter upon the full enjoyment of Philippine Citizenship.

SEC. 3. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.

This Act which originated in the House of Representatives was finally passed by the House of Representatives and the Senate on June 7, 2005 and November 20, 2006, respectively.
