Republic Act No. 9414

AN ACT DECLARING JUNE 19 OF EVERY YEAR A SPECIAL NONWORKING HOLIDAY IN THE PROVINCE OF NORTHERN SAMAR TO COMMEMORATE ITS FOUNDATION DAY

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippine Congress Assembled:

Section 1. June 19 of every year is hereby declared a special nonworking holiday in the Province of Northern Samar to commemorate its foundation day.

Section 2. This Act sha1l take effect immediately upon its approval.

This Act which originated in the House of Representatives was final1y passed by the House of Representatives and the Senate on November 15, 2005 and January 22, 2007, respectively.
