Republic Act No. 9426

AN ACT DECLARING MARCH 8 OF EVERY YEAR A SPECIAL WORKING HOLIDAY IN THE ENTIRE PROVINCE OF COMPOSTELA VALLEY TO COMMEMORATE ITS FOUNDING ANNIVERSARY

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippine Congress Assembled:

SECTION 1. To commemorate its founding anniversary as a province, March 8 of every year is hereby declared a special working holiday in the entire Province of Compostela Valley.

SEC. 2. This Act shall take effect immediately upon its approval.

This Act which originated in the House of Representatives was finally passed by the House of Representatives and the Senate on February 7, 2007 and January 22, 2007, respectively.
