Republic Act No. 9464

AN ACT RENAMING THE BACOLOD - MURCIA - SAN CARLOS ROAD (BACOLOD SECTION) IN THE CITY OF BACOLOD TO ROMEO G. GUANZON AVENUE

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippine Congress Assembled:

Section 1. The 9.62 kilometer stretch comprising the Bacolod Section of the Bacolod - Murcia - San Carlos Road from the junction of Araneta Street to the boundary of Bacolod City and the Municipality of Murcia in Negros Occidental, is hereby renamed as the Romeo G. Guanzon Avenue.

Sec. 2. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.

This Act which originated in the House of Representatives was finally passed by the House of Representatives and the Senate on June 6, 2005 and February 19, 2007, respectively.
