AN ACT ESTABLISHING THE MISAMIS OCCIDENTAL SECOND DISTRICT ENGINEERING OFFICE IN THE PROVINCE OF MISAMIS OCCIDENTAL AND APPROPRIATING FUNDS THEREFOR

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representative of the Philippines in Congress assembled:

Section 1. There shall be established, under the supervision of the Department of Public Works and Highways, a second district engineering office in the Second Congressional District of the Province of Misamis Occidental to be located in Tangub City, to be known as the Misamis Occidental Second District Engineering Office.

Section 2. The said district engineering office shall comprise the cities of Ozamiz and Tangub and the municipalities of Sinacaban, Tudela, Clarin, Bonifacio and Don Victoriano.

Section 3. The Secretary of Public Works and Highways shall include in the Department's program the operationalization of the Misamis Occidental Second District Engineering Office, the funding of which shall be included in the annual General Appropriations Act.

Section 4. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.

This Act which originated in the House of Representatives was finally passed by the House of Representatives and the Senate on March 10, 2008 and May 26, 2009, respectively.
