Republic Act No. 9702

AN ACT NAMING THE PROVINCIAL ROAD FROM THE MUNICIPALITY OF STA. MAGDALENA UP TO PAWA ROAD IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF MATNOG, PROVINCE OF SORSOGON AS GOV. JUAN G. FRIVALDO HIGHWAY

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representative of the Philippines in Congress assembled:

Section 1. The provincial road from the Municipality of Sta. Magdalena up to Pawa Road in the Municipality of Matnog, Province of Sorsogon shall hereinafter be known as Gov. Juan G. Frivaldo Highway.

Section 2. The Department of Public Works and Highways shall issue the necessary rules, orders and circulars to implement the provision of this Act.

Section 3. This Act shall take effect fifteen (15) days after this publication in a newspaper circulation.

This Act which originated in the House of Representatives was finally passed by the House of Representatives and the Senate on December 3, 2008 and May 25, 2009, respectively.
